Subway Sandwiches Opens in Downtown Lake Stevens - Subway Sandwiches opened a brand new location in downtown Lake Stevens in the Main Street Center next to Jay’s Market on June 11th. Subway shops are individually owned and the new restaurant is owned by Jon and Bridgit Newmark who are local residents. They have been Subway franchisees for over 17 years and have owned the Subway in the Albertsons Shopping Center for the past 6 years. The new store has a large seating area and offers a wide variety of delicious sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps and personal pizzas, each made just how you like it. Now with two Lake Stevens locations to serve you, it is easier than ever to get some sandwiches to take out on the boat, carry to the park for a picnic or feed your team after the games. We welcome you to come see our new store. Both stores open at 7 a.m. serving breakfast sandwiches and wraps and stay open until 11 p.m. (Subway is also a new Chamber Member)

Items for New Res. Packets - It is time to put together another set of New Residence Packets for the Lake Stevens area. If you would like your business to be included in these packets, free of charge, please deliver 50 flyers, brochures, sales cards, etc. (maximum size 8.5x11) to the Chamber office or Foster Press before July 30th. Music on the Lake takes place on Thursday evening in North Cove Park beginning at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free thanks to the Lake Stevens Arts Commission and their wonderful sponsors. Come early and wander around the Farmer’s Market before you enjoy the great music!

Family Center Back to School Drive - The Family Center is now holding their annual Back to School Drive. Please think of all the things needed to outfit a child properly for school, and consider donating some of these: backpacks, school supplies, cash donations (for purchase of needed supplies) and donated haircuts.
