Orientation/Jumpstart Offered by Northwest Women's Business Center

This course is designed to give attendees information on how the Northwest Women's Business Center can help them start a new business or expand an existing business. Topics that are covered include how to write a business plan, how to research your market and how to prepare financial statements that will help you get funded.

After attending Orientation, you may make arrangements to meet with a WBC Business Assistance Officer for further guidance. Call or email to register. This session is FREE, but registration is REQUIRED.

Another Warning from the Lake Stevens School District - Apparently there is a company out of Albuquerque, NM sending invoices to companies for money to be collected for Lake Stevens High School. This is not a company the HS has approved. The company is called School Booster Co. and should not be paid.

The HS is running a fund raiser for ads but the letters for request are signed by Ken Collins and it is run through the Lake Stevens football program.

Open House at the Cabin at Mount Pilchuck - Saturday, June 28th - On Sat June 28th from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Brad Whitsell will be having a open-house at the Cabin At Mount Pilchuck, 9829-353rd Drive NE , Granite Falls, WA 98252....Snacks..Water.... Fruit....and he will also be holding a drawing for 1-free night for 2 at the Cabin. Chamber Members Needed to Staff Aquafest Info Booth - As in past years the Chamber's involvement with Aquafest will include staffing the information booth. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to take a two hour shift sometime throughout the weekend of July 25th-27th beginning at noon on Friday. You are welcome to promote your business with business cards, flyers, etc. during your shift. Please contact Donna at the Chamber office for more information, or to reserve your time slot.
