Chamber of Commerce Leadership Breakfast Tuesday, April 29th

Don’t forget to join us Tuesday morning at 7:00 at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center for the annual Leadership Breakfast with special speaker Terry Corbell, “The Biz Coach.” RSVP with the Chamber office.

Highway 9 Casino now offering Family Dining and More
Highway 9 Casino has added several new features to better serve their clients! The new hours are Monday-Thursday 11:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m. and Friday-Sunday 9 a.m.-2 a.m. They now have a complete Thai menu (the chef is from a five star Washington Thai restaurant) plus all of the traditional favorites.  Children are welcome until 9:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Highway 9 is also offering an all you can eat brunch on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a special Mother's Day Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with children welcome. You won’t want to miss the Guitar Hero competition on Saturday evenings for adults Tuesday evenings for kids.

Food Bank- Postal Food Drive
The annual Postal Workers Food Drive to benefit the Food Bank is coming up on May 10th. Due to the large quantities of food brought in through this drive the Food Bank could use some extra volunteers that afternoon! This is a great opportunity for our youth to earn service hours. Call Jim Foster at the Food Bank for more information and scheduling, 425-334-3430.

Cones, crews and contractors – the 2008 construction season gets under way

As we enter another busy construction season, get ready to see the signature construction orange of our cones, crews and contractors on highways across the Puget Sound region. This year in Snohomish County , we will put the finishing touches on the I-5 Everett HOV and Freeway Expansion Project and focus our attention on improving safety and mobility on US 2 and SR 9.
