John Koster’s Business Roundtable – Thursday, February 14th
Common Values…Common Sense – The Business Roundtable that you don’t want to miss!

“At the December pre-session legislative forum, attendees met state legislators who presented their views and answered your questions on critical and key business issues for the 2008 session, at which time education became the focal point of discussion,” states John Koster.

Attention . . . . Business and Community Leaders and Educational Advocates . . . . Come voice your views and discuss current educational issues with a diverse panel of experts who will address your questions. Quality education affects the success of the economy, businesses, communities and our children in many ways. Join us to find effective solutions.

This is the best forum for input on many issues that are critical to all of us doing business in Snohomish County . Here is your opportunity to get informed and discuss important issues that affect us all.  Join Councilman John Koster and other Snohomish County business leaders for buffet breakfast at the Monte Cristo Hotel, 1507 Wall Street , Everett WA on Thursday, February 14th . The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 a.m. and conclude at 8:30 a.m. (Registration and buffet open at 6:30 a.m.)

The cost is $25.00 per person (please pay at the door by cash or check made payable to John Koster). Register by Thursday, February 7th to Cindy Brengman at 425-397-7799 or send an e-mail to kosterbrt@comcast.net.

Economic Census Forms Are Due February 12th
The U.S. Census Bureau today reminded millions of U.S. businesses that time is running out for returning 2007 Economic Census forms. Businesses that received forms are required by law to respond. The forms are due by February 12.

Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez calls answering the Economic Census "an act of good corporate citizenship." The Fed's Ben Bernanke calls the census "indispensable" and adds "returning your economic census form helps us all."

Meeting the February 12 deadline saves the government time and money. But businesses running out of time can get help with their form, or even request a 30-day extension, at the Census Bureau's business help site at
www.census.gov/econhelp or call 1-800-233-6136.
