Announcing the new owners of
Lakeside Awards:
As of Jan 1, 2008 the new owners
will be Tom & Denise Webb (also) of
Lake Stevens. Please note: The
contact information for the business
will not change – 425.397.0709 or
lakesideawards@comcast.net
It’s a bittersweet announcement for
us to sell our business after 8
yrs. As some of you know this
decision was only made recently, and
it wasn’t easy, but we’re very happy
to have found buyers in this area
who are committed to serve our
existing customers. They're excited
to grow the business with some of
the same products and services.
Please feel free to contact them
directly beginning the first of
2008. (They can be reached at
425.397.0709 or
lakesideawards@comcast.net)
We'd like to thank you for you
support and for helping to make
Lakeside Awards what it is. We're
hoping to stay in touch with many of
you in whatever the future may bring
for us. Brett & Debra Howe

marine environment?
The Snohomish County Marine
Resources Advisory Committee (MRC)
is seeking three new members to
serve for a three-year term.
The MRC is a volunteer citizen group
that addresses local marine issues
and recommends action to the County
Council and Executive. It is one of
seven county committees in Northern
Puget Sound that is involved in the
nationally recognized Northwest
Straits Marine Conservation
Initiative. The Snohomish County MRC
focuses its efforts in four project
areas: education and outreach,
Dungeness crab stewardship, marine
water quality, and near-shore
habitat stewardship.
Interested parties need not be
experts in marine management issues,
but are expected to contribute by
attending monthly meetings and
sharing opinions on marine issues
during a three-year term, which runs
from 2008 to 2010. Members advise on
the development of proposed marine
stewardship areas and are encouraged
to participate in project planning
and implementation.
Membership is open to Snohomish
County residents or organization
representatives. Interested parties
representing local governments or
recreation, environmental or
conservation groups are encouraged
to apply. For additional information
and to download an application, go
